Australia’s Office of the eSafety Commissioner outlines four categories of online harm. These include cyberbullying (i.e., hurtful content used to deliberately upset a child), adult cyber abuse (i.e., content used to deliberately harm the physical or mental wellbeing of an adult), image-based abuse (i.e., the sharing of intimate video or images without the subject’s consent), and illegal and restricted content (e.g., violent or extremist content, child sexual abuse, etc.).
