Online harm can be understood as cyberbullying or cyber abuse, which refers to any negative harm and violation of personal rights that may be suffered in the online digital landscape, such as abusive name-calling, stalking, threats to personal safety, sexual harassment, etc. Sending or sharing seriously threatening, intimidating, harassing or offensive content based on gender, race and ethnic background that causes serious harm to someone’s physical or mental health. Even with current legislation in place, online harm is still very common.
